What we do
WETEC aims to create safe spaces for vulnerable adolescent girls in Kenya. We aim to provide girls with lifetime opportunities, through knowledge sharing, education and mentorship while addressing wide-ranging issues such as reproductive health and rights and women economic empowerment.

Our objectives
- Reduce the dropout rates in schools and increase education completion rates of girls in tertiary institutions and higher learning institutions.
- Reduce teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases by 40% among adolescent girls.
- Mold girls and young women into independent, empowered and dependable women.
- Create income generation opportunities for young women and girls, particularly young mothers who have been unable to complete formal education.
