Our Programs
At WETEC KENYA, our programmes create opportunities for adolescent girls and young women to build confidence, exercise their rights, strengthen their resilience and participate meaningfully in their communities.
Miduara Yetu
A girls' movement-building initiative creating safe and empowering spaces for adolescent girls and young women aged 10–24 to connect, learn, organize and amplify their voices.
Jamii Stawi
An initiative working with communities and key stakeholders to prevent and address sexual and gender-based violence, challenge harmful social norms and promote safer, inclusive communities.
Wezesha Msichana
An economic empowerment initiative supporting adolescent girls and young women, particularly teenage mothers and vulnerable girls, through skills development, financial literacy and livelihood opportunities.
How We Create Change
Girls' Leadership & Movement Building
We create safe spaces where adolescent girls and young women can connect, learn, develop leadership skills, share their experiences and collectively amplify their voices.
Community Engagement & Advocacy
Through community dialogues, school engagements and collaboration with key stakeholders, we work to address gender-based violence, challenge harmful social norms and promote the rights and wellbeing of women and girls.
Skills & Economic Empowerment
We equip adolescent girls and young women with practical skills, financial knowledge and livelihood opportunities that strengthen their economic resilience and support greater financial independence.
